Google Play Console reveals details about Samsung's future Galaxy Tab S12+ and S12 Ultra tablets

Although Samsung has not yet made an official announcement about its next line of premium tablets, the Google Play Console has exposed crucial information regarding the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra models. These two devices were listed on the platform as supported, anticipating hardware specifications and suggesting that the launch may be near.

The leak indicates that Samsung plans to make versions of these tablets available with both Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity. Specifically, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra 5G is listed with the model code SM-X946B, while the Wi-Fi variant is identified as SM-X940. Additionally, there is another cellular model, SM-X946N, aimed at the South Korean market.

Google records point out that the Tab S12 Ultra will come equipped with around 12 GB of RAM and run the Android 17 operating system. The amount of memory shown by the system is close to 12 GB, with the record indicating between 11.7 GB and 11.8 GB of usable RAM for the corresponding model.

Another notable point is that the device is already listed as 'Certified and Supported' in the Google Play Console. According to The Tech Outlook, this device was included in Google's catalog on July 26, 2026. The Galaxy Tab S12+ appeared on the platform before the Ultra model, showing various regional configurations.

The Wi-Fi version of the Tab S12+ has the code SM-X840 and the codename 'gts12pwifi'. The 5G versions use the codename 'gts12p' and are identified by the numbers SM-X846B, SM-X846E, SM-X846N, and SM-X848U, covering international, Asian, South Korean, and United States markets. These records confirm Samsung's intention to offer multiple connectivity options for the line.

Similar to the Ultra model, the Tab S12+ is also present in the Google ecosystem as a supported device, signaling the advancement in the device's development. The inclusion of Android 17 is another highlight, indicating that Samsung's new generation of tablets should be launched with the next version of the Google operating system. For the Tab S12 Ultra, the listing also mentions the combination with the Dimensity 9500.

The presence of the MediaTek chip is significant, as it represents a high-performance platform for a line that historically leads Samsung's tablet catalog. The Tab S12 Ultra had already been seen in a testing platform indicating the Dimensity 9500, and the Google Play Console added data on memory and screen resolution.

They were not the only Samsung devices identified; the Galaxy A07s 4G also appeared on the platform, with codes SM-A077F (international version) and SM-A077M (Latin America). Both share the codename 'a07ve', featuring around 4 GB of RAM, Android 16, and a MediaTek processor from the Helio G99 family, with a 720 x 1,600 pixel screen. The mention of the Latin America model is relevant for the region.

Despite the many pieces of information revealed by the records, Samsung has not officially confirmed the release date for the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Tab S12 Ultra. However, their presence in the Google Play Console suggests an advanced stage of development, adding to previous appearances in certification and benchmark databases.

Currently, prices, country availability, and all specifications remain unconfirmed. What has been revealed points to Samsung preparing a line of premium tablets with Android 17, up to 12 GB of RAM, and the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, including Wi-Fi and 5G options.
