Following the announcement by the minister of the complete cancellation of the results for the JSSC CGL and TDPL exams, candidates who took the JSSC CGL exam in Jharkhand began protesting against the state government's decision in front of the Project Bhavan building.
One of the demonstration participants stated that he was left on the streets after this decision. He urged his parents to remain patient, asserting that they would win again, and demanded that the government revoke the decision to cancel the exams. The protester also noted that this government decision is an insult to the ruling of a respected court, stating that justice and the respected court lost today. He emphasized that he will continue the fight for his rights.
One of the demonstrators reported that his employment was secured following a decision by the Division Bench of the High Court, which was approved by the Supreme Court. Despite this, he suddenly became unemployed after the government's decision. He appealed to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to reconsider this matter.
One of the candidates participating in the protest asked why such steps are being taken if his employment was made through a fair process. He proposed an investigation, and if any person is found guilty, only that person should be suspended.
The demonstrators also noted that hundreds of people gave up their previous jobs to get this position and questioned the future of these individuals. They stated that the court's position in this matter is crucial, reminding that they previously reached this point through the courts, and now they will go to court again.
After a 24-day student movement in Ranchi, Jharkhand, the state government made an important decision. According to preliminary information, Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced the cancellation of all exams, including JSSC CGL, conducted by the TDPL agency, as well as the cancellation of their results. Furthermore, instructions were given to conduct an investigation by the CID regarding alleged irregularities in all recruitment exams held from 2014 to the present.
