The Jharkhand government has decided to cancel all exams related to TDPL, including JPSC CGL. Chief Minister Hemant Soren stated that this decision was made after careful consideration of all aspects of the matter. The cancellation affects not only conducted exams and published results but also all events organized by TDPL, as well as participants and candidates.
Following this decision, in an interview with Aaj Tak, Devendra Mehta, who was on hunger strike, demanded that the government create a system that eliminates the possibility of getting a job through leaks of examination materials, fraud, or lobbying. He noted that he had previously seen the cancellation of many exams and the conduct of investigations.
Mehta emphasized that his satisfaction is not limited to the simple cancellation of exams or conducting checks; he demands guarantees from the government that such leaks will not happen in the future. He insists on creating a reliable system for the recruitment process that ensures exam transparency and prevents any form of falsification.
Leader Devendra Nath Mahto expressed gratitude to the Jharkhand government and Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He noted that the government took the students' problems seriously and met their demands. Mahto added that the investigation into the case is being conducted cautiously, and corrupt individuals involved are wanted. Investigative agencies are trying to reach the true leaders of these criminal groups.
