Yogi Government Increases Pay of Outsourced Employees by 5%

The state government has made a significant decision in favor of outsourced workers employed at the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation (UPSRTC). It was announced that their monthly compensation will be increased by 5 percent, effective from July 2026. This decision will provide substantial financial support to the employees.

The Minister of Transport (with an independent department), Dayanshankar Singh, presented information about this decision. He specified that the increase applies to outsourced employees holding three positions: computer operator, Tally accountant operator, and programmer.

The Transport Minister also stated that the corporation provides for an annual increase in compensation for outsourced workers totaling 10 percent. According to this rule, the increase occurs twice a year: by 5 percent in January and another 5 percent in July.

Thanks to this system, the increased remuneration will apply starting from July 2026. This raise will benefit hundreds of employees working in various roles.

Transport Minister Dayanshankar Singh emphasized that the state government is fully concerned with the interests of its workers and staff. These outsourced employees make a huge contribution to ensuring the advanced, uninterrupted, and efficient operation of the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation.

He added that the timely increase in remuneration will not only strengthen the financial position of the workers but also boost their enthusiasm and dedication to work. This step by the government demonstrates its commitment to the employees.
