Croatian coach Mario Tokic is preparing to travel to Tehran soon. He is being considered as an assistant to Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh in the Esteghlal club.
Mario Tokic to Join Esteghlal Coaching Staff
Tokic became a candidate for the Esteghlal coaching staff after the supposed transfer of Joaquin Chi did not materialize. It is expected that the Croatian will arrive in Tehran shortly to join the 'Blues' as an assistant coach.
Previously, Tokic collaborated with former Persepolis head coach Branko Ivankovic in the Oman national team, which added international experience to his coaching resume.
