Infrastructure giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Monday that it has secured an ultra-large order for the development of multiple offshore facilities in West Asia. The company classifies orders exceeding 15,000 crore rupees as 'ultra-large.'
The company reported in documentation submitted to the BSE that its subsidiary, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore (LTEH Offshore), will be responsible for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) of these marine structures.
Securing this project strengthens LTEH Offshore's long-standing presence in West Asia and demonstrates client confidence in the company's ability to execute large and complex marine projects safely, on schedule, and with the highest quality.
Backed by its own capabilities in engineering, project management, procurement, fabrication, and installation, as well as a fleet of vessels, LTEH Offshore has executed some of the most complex marine projects in the region. Over the past four decades, the business has successfully completed a wide range of marine works, including fixed platforms, subsea pipelines and structures, modernization and modification of existing facilities, deepwater subsea structures and pipelines, and decommissioning programs in global markets.
Larsen & Toubro is a $32 billion Indian multinational corporation engaged in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, high-tech manufacturing, products, and services, operating across various sectors and territories.
