Restaurant in Murtala (Sonipat, Haryana) introduces robot waiter for serving dishes

Popular local cafes in Murtala, located in the Sonipat district of Haryana state, are no longer solely associated with traditional flavors. The Resham Dhaba restaurant has added a technological element to its customer service. Now, food delivery to the table is carried out not by a person, but by a robot.

How does this robot waiter function? After the order is prepared, the food tray cart is placed on the robot. Then, using its built-in navigation system, the robot moves autonomously along a designated route directly to the client's table. It is controlled via a software chip and a remote control.

The robot has an attractive appearance thanks to a bright red LED lamp installed in its 'eyes' and a fiber body. When fully charged, it can provide continuous service for one and a half to two hours.

Customers who visited the cafe and saw the robot serving food were amazed. Many guests recorded videos and took selfies with the robot using their mobile phones. It is worth noting that no extra charge is levied for the robot's service. A customer named Abhishek noted that watching the robot serve food at the cafe was a new and exciting experience for him.

According to the cafe manager, Sanjay, this robot was specially created by a team from Bangalore. The goal of this project was to provide people visiting Murtala not only with delicious food but also with an experience interacting with modern technology. The cafe also has a dedicated team that monitors and controls the robot using a remote control when necessary.

Despite the introduction of the robot waiter, which has completely changed the way dishes are served, the taste of the food in the Murtala cafe remains the same. These establishments have long been famous for their parathas and local cuisine, and now, thanks to the robot, they have become a topic of discussion among travelers passing through the UP-Haryana highway.
