Legendary cricket stars who previously gained recognition on the international stage will once again take to the field with bat and ball. The third season of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) is scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 18, 2026, although the tournament venue has not yet been announced.
This season, the league will present an even more impressive lineup of celebrities. Among the major names who will demonstrate their skill are AB de Villiers, Yuvraj Singh, Dwayne Bravo, Shahid Afridi, and Moeen Ali. The addition of stars such as David Warner and Mohammad Mahmudullah increases the intensity and spectacle of the tournament. Furthermore, the league has gained a new team with the entry of the Champions Bangladesh.
In the first two seasons of WCL, India and South Africa won the title, but both teams managed to defeat the Champions Pakistan in the final matches. In the first season, the Champions India defeated Pakistan, and in the second season, the Champions South Africa repeated this success.
According to Harshit Tomar, founder and CEO of WCL, the third season will be held outside the UK for the first time. He stated that fans will see many big surprises as organizers prepare to bring together the most outstanding cricket stars of all time.
During the second season of WCL, it reached an audience of 425 million viewers worldwide. Because of this, organizers expect the third season to generate even greater global resonance. Thus, in October, champions of legendary generations will return to the cricket grounds, whose names once delighted the entire world.
