The primary market is preparing for another busy week, as seven companies, including Blackstone-backed Horizon Industrial Parks and Lalithaa Jewellery Mart, intend to collectively raise over 640 billion rupees through initial public offerings (IPOs).
These upcoming listings follow the launch of five IPOs this week, with three companies having already entered the market earlier this month.
Horizon Industrial Parks will kick off the week with its IPO of 260 billion rupees on August 17. On the same day, the jewelry retailer Lalithaa Jewellery Mart will list with an offering of 170 billion rupees.
Shankesh Jewellers and film and television producer Sunshine Pictures will launch their IPOs on August 18, offering 367 billion rupees and 282 billion rupees, respectively.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management, operating under the brand Gaja Capital, will launch its IPO of 550 billion rupees on August 19. Tempsens Instruments (India) will present its listing on August 20, and the integrated gold and silver platform Augmont Enterprises will enter the market with an IPO of 825 billion rupees on August 21.
Collectively, these seven enterprises aim to raise over 640 billion rupees through public offerings, making this week active for the primary market.
The funds raised from the new issuance will mainly be directed towards business expansion, capital expenditures, debt repayment, and other corporate needs, while revenue from OFS will go to selling shareholders.
According to industry data, considering these listings, the number of companies launching IPOs is expected to increase to 55 by 2026.
The Horizon Industrial Parks listing of 260 billion rupees is entirely a fresh issue and has a price band of 57 to 60 rupees per share. The company plans to use the proceeds to repay debt.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart has set a price band of 190 to 201 rupees per share. Its 170 billion rupee offering includes a fresh issue of up to 120 billion rupees and OFS of up to 50 billion rupees.
The Shankesh Jewellers listing of 367 billion rupees has a price band of 88 to 93 rupees per share. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of up to 2.95 million shares and OFS of up to 1 million shares.
Sunshine Pictures has set a price band of 342 to 360 rupees for its 282 billion rupee offering. The IPO includes a fresh issue of 48 lakh shares and OFS of 30.37 lakh shares, totaling an offer size of 78.37 lakh shares.
Promoters Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Shefali Vipul Shah will sell shares through OFS.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management has set a price band of 152 to 160 rupees per share for its 550 billion rupee IPO. The offering includes a fresh issue of up to 450 billion rupees and OFS of up to 100 billion rupees.
Tempsens Instruments will offer a fresh issue of 95 billion rupees, along with OFS of 1.85 million shares.
The Augmont Enterprises IPO of 825 billion rupees is a combination of a fresh issue of 620 billion rupees and OFS of 205 billion rupees. The price band for Tempsens Instruments and Augmont Enterprises will be announced on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
It is also worth noting that the air freight and logistics company Skyways Air Services has planned its IPO of 583 billion rupees for August 24, maintaining the activity in the primary market after next week.
