Fans of Indian cinema in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have the opportunity to win either 500 grams of gold or a new SUV by visiting cinemas in August.
The VOX Cinemas chain has launched a campaign called Filmy Fever across all its branches in the UAE. This promotion gives visitors a chance to win one of two major prizes when purchasing tickets for selected Indian films.
The promotional event will run throughout August. One winner will receive 500 grams of gold through Dream Dubai, valued by organizers at Dh235,000. The other winner will receive a Jetour T2 SUV.
To participate in the prize draw, participants must purchase the relevant ticket online via the VOX Cinemas website or app. Tickets purchased directly at the cinemas are only eligible for the gold draw, not the car draw.
Participants wishing to win gold will receive a voucher with a unique QR code after purchasing a qualifying ticket. This code must be scanned, and their details provided on the Dream Dubai campaign page to complete registration.
The promotion is available to UAE residents aged 18 and over. The campaign features Indian films in various languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, and Malayalam.
Among the participating films are Thudakkam, DC, Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, Neekam, Awarapan 2, Vishwanath & Sons, Batwara, Khalifa, I Am Game, Bathlehem Kudumba Unit, Irumudi, Psycho, Toxic, and VVan.
The draw for the Jetour T2 is scheduled for September 2nd, and the gold draw through Dream Dubai will take place on September 3rd. Winners will be notified by phone or email after the draws.
