In Devgarh, where Babulenat is revered, even the followers of Baba exhibit unique characteristics. Today, on the path of the kanwadiyas, a unique scene was observed: one of the pilgrims was heading towards Baba Dham, carrying a message written on bamboo. This message stated: 'O, Bolenat, cancel the JPSC-JSSC exams and conduct an investigation through the CBI.'
The kanwadiya explained that although the entire country is immersed in devotion to Baba, thousands of students advocating for the cancellation of the JSSC exam cannot perform the offering of water to Baba Baiyadnath. He stated that if the Jharkhand government meets the students' demands, they, along with thousands of other students, will reach Baba Dham and offer water to Baba.
Of particular note is the fact that this kanwadiya is undertaking a foot journey of about 105 kilometers to Baba Dham but has not brought water with him. He emphasized that he will not perform the jalabhishek (offering of water) to Baba until the students' demands are met.
The image of this kanwadiya, who carries his faith and his message, makes one reflect on how unique Bolenat is, and how special his followers also are.
It should be noted that students in Jharkhand are holding protests over alleged irregularities in the JPSC-JSSC exams. Consequently, demands are also being made for the resignation of the Chief Minister. The organization JPSC-JSSC Sudar Manch announced that on August 20, there will be a siege of the minister's house to protest against the alleged examination malpractice.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the third Monday of the month of Sawan and Nag Panchami, devotees have been flocking to temples for prayers since early morning in various parts of the country. At the Shri Baba Baiyadnath Jyotirlinga temple in Devgarh, Jharkhand, a huge crowd of pilgrims and kanwadiyas also gathered. In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, devotees were also praying at the Nageshwar Nath Mahadeva temple on the occasion of Nag Panchami.
