Documentary Film 'Guardian of Heritage' Released in Azerbaijan

When the author started his first job as a video editor at a media company in 2007, he quickly befriended the animation department staff. This meant that during lunch breaks, they watched the latest episodes of 'Heroes' immediately after they aired. The author recalls how all fifteen-plus monitors were synchronized, showing the same scene, such as a man named Peter Petrelli who seemed to be committing suicide but then soared into the sky.

However, what truly captivated the author in the pilot episode was the image of a school cheerleader jumping from a high bridge on a construction site. She landed, immediately got up, recovered from a shoulder dislocation, and walked away completely unharmed, while the cut on her cheek miraculously healed. After this, it became clear that Claire Bennet possessed invulnerability.

Claire was brilliantly played by Hayden Panettiere, whose tragic death was announced on Monday. The cause of death has not been disclosed. One of the most memorable slogans of the series was 'Save the cheerleader, save the world.' This served as a warning about Sylar, a superhuman serial killer hunting people with abilities to absorb their powers. If he stole Claire's immortality, he would become absolutely invincible.

Despite her incredible abilities, Claire essentially remained a teenager trying to fit into society, which was complicated by the fact that she could not be physically harmed. The author deeply identified with this theme because at the time, he himself was experiencing bullying as the youngest in class and often ended up losing fights. This desperate need to simply blend in resonated strongly with him.

Years later, Netflix added this cult series to its platform in early July. Although the series now seems somewhat dated, the author admits to rewatching it again and again, returning to the period that defined his early adulthood. This is why Panettiere's loss at the age of 36—a person whom part of his consciousness always perceived as immortal—seems particularly heartbreaking to him.

The draw for the Jetour T2 is scheduled for September 2nd, and the gold draw through Dream Dubai will take place on September 3rd. Winners will be notified by phone or email after the draws.

The film 'Spider-Man: New Day' continued to dominate the North American box office, earning an additional $70 million during its third weekend, according to industry estimates. This Marvel blockbuster achieved the highest opening weekend in domestic box office history, bringing in $360 million, surpassing the non-inflationary record set by Disney's 'Avengers: Endgame' from 2019.

According to industry observer Exhibitor Relations, the superhero film starring Tom Holland and Zendaya has grossed over $2 billion worldwide since its release on July 31st. It has also become the highest-grossing film in Sony Pictures history, as reported by Hollywood Reporter.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film tells the story of Peter Parker as he grapples with changes in his abilities and lives in isolation after having his identity erased. Spider-Man attempts to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) while confronting a new force threatening New York.

The second spot was held by Christopher Nolan's epic film 'Odyssey,' which brought Universal $23.2 million in domestic box office revenue for its fifth weekend. Warner Bros.' science fiction thriller 'End of Oak Street,' where Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman play a couple trying to survive when their neighborhood is transported to prehistoric times, earned $21 million, taking third place in its opening weekend.

In fourth place was 'Paw Patrol: Dinosaur Movie,' which reportedly brought Paramount $20.5 million in its first weekend. Fifth place was occupied by the movie 'Catsay: Wild Hearts,' about a pop group of the same name, which earned $3.6 million for Trafalgar Releasing during its debut weekend.

According to industry analyst David A. Gross, although box office receipts typically slow down in late August due to children returning to school, business remains extremely strong currently. Other films in the top 10 included 'SIX The Musical Live!' ($3 million), 'The Brink of War' ($2.7 million), 'Toy Story 5' ($2.3 million), 'One Night Only' ($2 million), and 'Your Name. 10th Anniversary' ($1.6 million).
