Chief Minister Sukhu comments on Ramdev's statement about exam irregularities

Baba Ramdev expressed concern that he might need to initiate public protests again if the existing system does not improve. He emphasized that despite this, he is not a proponent of chaos or disorder, but believes it is necessary to eliminate the violations occurring in the country.

According to Baba Ramdev, there is widespread disorder in the country. He noted that students in schools and colleges complain about the lack of basic amenities such as electricity and water, as well as a shortage of educational materials. Furthermore, he pointed to issues with certification, where scores from the final exams in the 10th and 12th grades are not being properly taken into account.

He focused on problems with entering public service, asserting that corruption occurs at a scale of 90-99% during interviews. Ramdev stated that preference is given to people from his circle, caste, or social class during hiring, while others are excluded, which he views as a violation of fairness principles.

In his words, employment is secured through bribes and bribery. He warned that if the situation does not change, mass protests will follow in the country, and he will have to speak out against the current situation, although he reiterated that he does not support anarchy.

The national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Maiyawati, criticized the BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) regarding the demolition of the Sant Guru Ravidas temple in Tughlakabad. She also criticized the organization of processions in honor of Ravidas in Punjab ahead of elections.

Publishing a message on the social media platform X, the BSP chief stated that seven years ago, on August 10, 2019, the Sant Guru Ravidas temple in Tughlakabad, Delhi, was demolished by bulldozers with the participation of a large number of police forces.

She added that when followers gathered across the country to protest, they faced arrests, tear gas deployment, beatings, and lawsuits, resulting in many being imprisoned.

The BSP leader emphasized that the temple land was confiscated, and today pilgrims have to worship their guru under temporary metal shelters. This situation deeply hurt the feelings of millions of devotees and remains in the public memory.

Maiyawati noted that now, as elections approach in Punjab, the BJP is organizing a procession in honor of Sant Guru Ravidas. In her view, this journey is aimed at distracting pilgrims from the ideas and goals of his guru's city of 'Begampura.'

She cited the incident in the village of Dhaleta in Punjab, where arrests were made after followers and the BSP raised their voices against the demolition of the temple wall. However, the AAP government was subsequently forced to concede, and the temple was restored.

Maiyawati urged the Bahujan community to remain vigilant regarding the policies of both the BJP and AAP. She supported the 'Pilgrimage to Santguru Shri Ravidas,' which is moving from Tughlakabad to the village of Dhaleta. Group followers are invited to participate to convey the guru's principles—equality, respect, justice, and a society free from dependence—to the wider public.

The issue of misappropriation of donations at Ram Mandir caused tension, spreading its influence from Lucknow to Delhi. The matter concerning the temple in Ayodhya was actively raised by the Socialist Party in both Delhi and Lucknow. As a result of this incident, a major scandal began in the UP Vishwasabha.

When the UP Chief Minister came out to speak at the Vishwasabha, the opposition intensified the unrest. The Chief Minister stated that the behavior of the SP and the opposition is not only unconstitutional but also disgraceful.
