In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, an incident involving serious technical malfunctions occurred during the examination for recruitment to the Bombay High Court. Major problems with the computer system arose during the secretary recruitment test, causing significant dissatisfaction among students.
Following this situation, Abhijit Dipke, founder of the Kokroch Janata Party (CJP), strongly criticized the government and the entire examination system. He stated directly that the system's failure amounted to playing with the future of the students.
Explaining the incident to the media, Abhijit Dipke reported that students initially notified him about cheating on the exam via phone. As soon as the students sat down to begin the test, significant technical deficiencies began to appear. Many students found their mice stopped working, while others experienced complete keyboard failures.
Dipke noted that for the entire ten minutes, most students were forcibly disconnected from the system, after which they were all declared failed. He called this a huge failure of the government and the examination system, which cannot even conduct a basic online exam.
Abhijit Dipke also leveled serious accusations against the examination officials. He recounted that when students approached the staff inside the hall to report their issues, they were treated extremely rudely. The officials told the students that they did not understand the examination process.
Angered by this, Dipke stated that if the officials had such understanding, they should have ensured functional computers and correct keyboards in advance. He demanded that the local court judge present in the examination hall come out and provide written assurances for the re-examination. Dipke emphasized that old and faulty computers would not be used during the retake.
By posing tough questions to the government, Dipke criticized the organizers. He asked why such exams are being conducted if they lack the necessary infrastructure to manage online tests, and what the purpose of such events is. Dipke added that this is not an isolated case; servers across the country and in Maharashtra frequently fail during online exams, sometimes keyboards break, and sometimes mice stop working. He challenged them to name just one online exam that passed without technical issues. He concluded that as long as the government and the system remain unaware of their incompetence, they continue to jeopardize the future of the youth by conducting such tests.
