Mahindra introduces Blazo i-TRK truck, promising up to 1.5 million rupees in earnings over five years

Mahindra has introduced its powerful SUV model—the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Edition. This version is the flagship product of the BE 6 lineup and features an updated dashboard design, a three-screen configuration, new connectivity features, and a refreshed interior.

The existing powertrain options are retained in this model. The Sporteq Edition will be priced higher than the standard BE 6. Currently, the vehicle starts from 18.90 lakh rupees, including export duties, and reaches 26.90 lakh rupees, including export duties.

The BE 6 is a coupe-style crossover, and Mahindra has not made changes to the overall design in the Sporteq Edition. The car is equipped with LED lighting, sharp body lines, 'flush' door handles, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The main difference lies in the application of the Sporteq emblem on the vehicle.

The most significant changes concern the interior. In the Sporteq Edition, the dual-screen system has been replaced by a triple-screen system, which includes three 12.3-inch screens. This configuration was previously seen in the XEV 9E and XEV 9S models. Furthermore, the dashboard has been completely redesigned.

The new dashboard offers improved access to USB Type-C ports and wireless charging support, as well as additional storage space. The interior is finished in a combination of black and taupe colors, and the upholstery has been updated. The BE 6 SportEQ offers a range of new connectivity features.

Mahindra has introduced six new TEQ technology packages that provide personalization, connectivity, and vehicle operation-based functions. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with a panoramic glass roof, a Harman Kardon audio system, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 360-degree view camera, an ADAS system, and multiple driving modes.

The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq uses the same electric powertrain as the current model. The vehicle comes with 59 kWh and 79 kWh batteries and features a rear-mounted electric motor. This car is capable of producing 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The claimed range with the larger battery is 682 kilometers. There have also been no changes to the charging options.

During the month of Sawan, unique forms and styles are observed in the Kavand pilgrimage procession traveling from Haridwar to the shrines. Notably, in Muzaffarnagar, public attention was drawn to an unusual procession where the deity was placed not on traditional transport or Nandi, but in a luxuriously appearing sports car resembling a McLaren.

Initially, passersby mistook the vehicle for a real one, given that an original McLaren can cost around 50 million rupees. However, it turned out that it was not a genuine car, but a replica made at an approximate cost of 7-8 lakh rupees.

The idea for creating such a procession originated with six Shiva devotees residing in the village of Nawada, Delhi. As one participant, Dipak Sharma, recounted, they conceived this idea while in an office. Since the month of Sawan was approaching, they decided to do something special, inspired by the various forms of Kavand they had seen previously.

Consequently, one of the companions suggested placing the image of Shiva inside the sports car. After making this decision, they began implementing the concept. Dipak Sharma clarified that although a real McLaren is valued at fifteen million rupees, their goal was to create a visually similar replica to conduct the Kavand procession with the image of Shiva.

These six pilgrims started their journey from Haridwar on July 28th, collecting about 40 liters of water from the Ganges River near Har Ki Pauri. They are heading to the Shiva temple in the village of Nawada, Delhi, to perform the Jaliabhishek ritual. Responsibility for conducting the procession is shared among all six participants, who aim to complete the journey with full faith and adherence to all rules.

Dipak Sharma noted that there is no grand or specific request behind this unusual and lavishly appearing Kavand procession; his desire is simply for peace and prosperity to remain in his family. Despite the replica car attracting significant attention, the main goal for the pilgrims is sincere devotion to Shiva and wishing tranquility for their family.

Haridwar serves as the starting point for millions of pilgrims returning with water from the Ganga. Western Uttar Pradesh includes numerous routes, and Muzaffarnagar is one of the key ones. Every year during Sawan, a huge crowd of pilgrims arrives on this route from different cities and states. Pilgrims create their own Kavand processions according to their means and faith, including large palanquins, Nandi images, temples, and various symbols associated with Shiva. This time, the procession in the sports car stands out among them.
