Maruti Suzuki is the largest automobile manufacturer in the Indian market. July proved to be a successful month for Maruti Suzuki, supported by the company's wide portfolio, which allows it to lead among competitors in the Indian market. In July, Maruti Suzuki sold 196,203 vehicles, a 42% increase compared to July of last year. In July 2025, the company sold 137,776 vehicles, while in June 2026, 147,187 units were sold, demonstrating a monthly growth of 33%. The significant sales growth is linked to the approaching festive season, as dealers stock up before this period.
The Maruti Suzuki Eco model attracts particular attention; it is a van with no direct analogues in the market. In July, Maruti Suzuki sold 13,896 units of this van, which is 13% more than in July of last year and 36% more than in June.
The Eco is a popular van in India, available from a starting price of 5.23 lakh rupees for export service. It comes in two variants: 5-seater and 6-seater. Additionally, it can be purchased in both petrol and CNG versions. An ambulance version is also available, starting from 6.39 lakh rupees for export service.
The CNG variant of the van starts from 6.40 lakh rupees for export service. The Maruti Suzuki Eco is equipped with a 1.2-liter K-series petrol engine, which produces 80 hp and 104 Nm of torque. The petrol version of the van provides a fuel consumption of 19.71 kilometers per liter. The CNG variant offers a consumption of 26.78 kilometers per kilogram. This van is equipped with six standard airbags, as well as ABS, EBD, and a rear parking sensor. The Eco is available in various color options and features stylish transparent glass headlights.
