Audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General reveals AIIMS Rishikesh failed to recover 1.78 million rupees and paid out 60.21 million rupees in unjustified allowances

According to the audit by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG), the medical institute AIIMS Rishikesh was unable to recover an amount of 1.78 crore rupees from a contractor. Furthermore, it was found that the institution paid 60.21 lakh rupees to nursing faculty teachers at the College of Nursing for unjustified food and clothing allowances.
