July proved to be a successful month for Kia India. During this month, the company delivered 28,200 vehicles to the domestic market. This demonstrates confident brand growth of 27 percent compared to July of last year, when 22,135 units were delivered.
Furthermore, July sales surpassed June figures. In June 2026, Kia delivered 24,552 vehicles in India, which represents a 15 percent increase in sales compared to the previous month.
The Seltos model became the best-selling Kia vehicle in July. Its sales doubled compared to last year, reaching 12,541 units. Last year, 6,010 units were sold, representing a year-on-year growth of 109 percent. It is also worth noting that in July, Seltos sales grew by 30 percent compared to June, when 9,654 units were sold.
As for the Kia Sonet, its sales declined in July. The company sold 8,913 units of the compact SUV. Year-on-year, this corresponds to a 17 percent increase compared to the 7,627 units sold in July last year. However, compared to June, when 9,231 units were sold, there was a decrease.
The Kia Carens ranks third in sales among Kia models. This MPV is also available in an electric variant. 5,352 units were sold in July, which is 30 percent less than the 7,602 units sold last year. 4,847 units were sold in June.
In July, Kia sold 1,303 units of the Sierra, which is a 56 percent increase compared to the 834 units sold last year. The monthly sales growth for this model was 65 percent compared to June, when 790 units were sold. Kia Carnival sales in July amounted to only 91 units.
The price of the Kia Seltos starts from 10.99 lakh rupees with exclusive tax and reaches 21.82 lakh rupees with exclusive tax. The car is available with several engines. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that generates 115 hp, as well as a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 160 hp.
In addition to these options, the car is also available with a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 116 hp. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox, CVT, 6-speed automatic gearbox, and 7-speed DCT. The car has a 5-star safety rating (BNCAP).
