The State Unitary Enterprise 'Toshkent metropoliteni' has been converted into a joint-stock company. As part of this reorganization, a new charter, rules for holding a general meeting of shareholders, provisions on supervisory and executive bodies, as well as procedures for remunerating the executive body have been approved.
After the transformation, the company will operate under the name 'Toshkent metropoliteni' JSC. These decisions were adopted by the general meeting of shareholders acting as the sole shareholder.
The supervisory board of the company includes Otabek Irkabaev, head of the railway transport department of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan; Mushtariy Ashrmatova, leading specialist of the department for economic, financial, and administrative regulation of enterprises in the transport and communications sectors of the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Rakhmajjon Karimjonov, head of the resource management department of the Special Fund and analysis of its areas of activity in the Main Department of Economy and Finance of Tashkent; and Nodirbek Yakubov, deputy head of the department for coordinating appraisal and property activities in the Agency for Management of State Assets.
Rakhmanbek Usmanov has been appointed Chairman of the Board of 'Toshkent metropoliteni' JSC. His appointment took into account his professional qualities, experience in the transport sector, and managerial skills. His employment contract for the position of Chairman of the Board is concluded for a term of three years.
Furthermore, Usmanov has been granted the authority, within the limits of the approved total number of employees, to make changes to the staffing table of the company's structural units.
Due to the change in the legal form of the company, the management of the joint-stock company is obliged to conduct an inventory of the enterprise's documents and bring them into compliance with regulatory and founding documents. The company must also ensure the continuity of tasks assigned to the relevant spheres and structural units according to the new organizational structure, staffing table, and distribution of responsibilities.
A working group, including representatives from the management of the Main Directorate for Transport Development and Road Transport Infrastructure of Tashkent, the interdepartmental operational headquarters, and JSC 'Toshshahartranskhizmat', conducted an inspection of the capital's transport infrastructure facilities.
As part of the inspection, specialists closely examined bus stops located on Fargona Yuli Street to assess the level of landscaping and passenger conditions. Subsequently, the commission proceeded to the 1st Bus Park, where the technical condition of the rolling stock and the maintenance of the buses were evaluated. Instructions were issued to the responsible employees regarding the urgent elimination of the identified shortcomings.
During the inspection, the final stop named 'Aviasozlar' was also checked. The tour concluded on Shota Rustaveli Street, where construction work is underway to expand the dedicated lane for BRT. Specialists inspected the ongoing projects and determined tasks aimed at ensuring the safe and convenient operation of public transport.
Decisions were made within the structure of the Tashkent Hokimiyat to dismiss two employees who had previously committed crimes. Additionally, one employee was transferred to a different position as part of a rotation procedure.
These decisions were made following a thorough analysis conducted by the Compliance and Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service. Specialists examined data on 29 employees who had prior criminal experience.
Of these 29 individuals, six hold positions in district hokimiyats, while the remaining 23 work in various organizations within the hokimiyat system. Preventive talks were held with the remaining employees, and their direct supervisors were instructed to strengthen supervision over personnel activities and consider their rotation.
Furthermore, the service also analyzed data concerning 1,353 workers in the hokimiyat system who had committed administrative offenses. Information about them was forwarded to the relevant managers for clarification work.
The hokimiyat emphasized that the goal of the internal control system is not only to detect violations but also to prevent corruption risks, conflicts of interest, and other offenses.
Previously, the Anti-Corruption Agency had demanded an official investigation into Khokim Shakhrisabzsky District Samad Hasanov. This occurred after a video appeared on social media showing him visiting a local resident's home and commenting on the condition of her house and adjacent territory.
During an online meeting, the head of the Tashkent Region, Zoir Mirzaev, and the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation, Rady Khabirov, discussed directions for developing interaction in priority sectors such as trade, economy, investment, and industry.
The parties noted the stable development of partnership relations between the Tashkent Region and Bashkortostan. Currently, seven investment projects worth a total of 235.7 million US dollars are being implemented, which aligns with the decision of the President of Uzbekistan. The implementation of these projects is designed to strengthen the economic potential of both regions, create new production capacities, and provide thousands of jobs.
A separate issue of the negotiations was the development of the Bekabad Technopark. Participants discussed measures aimed at accelerating the further growth of this park.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the parties considered issues of creating joint industrial enterprises, accelerating the implementation of investment projects, expanding trade ties, as well as strengthening interaction in the fields of agriculture, tourism, and sports.
Participants exchanged views on the prospects of launching new joint initiatives and investment projects that will bring the partnership between the Tashkent Region and Bashkortostan to a qualitatively new level. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of current projects, ensure the timely completion of planned tasks, and further expand practical cooperation between the two regions.
