During an online meeting, the head of the Tashkent Region, Zoir Mirzaev, and the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan of the Russian Federation, Rady Khabirov, discussed directions for developing interaction in priority sectors such as trade, economy, investment, and industry.
The parties noted the stable development of partnership relations between the Tashkent Region and Bashkortostan. Currently, seven investment projects worth a total of 235.7 million US dollars are being implemented, which aligns with the decision of the President of Uzbekistan. The implementation of these projects is designed to strengthen the economic potential of both regions, create new production capacities, and provide thousands of jobs.
A separate issue of the negotiations was the development of the Bekabad Technopark. Participants discussed measures aimed at accelerating the further growth of this park.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the parties considered issues of creating joint industrial enterprises, accelerating the implementation of investment projects, expanding trade ties, as well as strengthening interaction in the fields of agriculture, tourism, and sports.
Participants exchanged views on the prospects of launching new joint initiatives and investment projects that will bring the partnership between the Tashkent Region and Bashkortostan to a qualitatively new level. Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of current projects, ensure the timely completion of planned tasks, and further expand practical cooperation between the two regions.
