This match will be the last test for the team before the start of the qualification tournament for the AFC U-20 Cup, which is scheduled from August 25 to September 6. The friendly match will allow the coaching staff to assess the players' readiness for the upcoming qualifying matches and determine the team's level before the start of official games.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea held the fourth round of consular consultations in Tashkent, according to the news agency Dunyo, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The delegations were headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Lim San Woo. During the negotiations, the parties detailedly reviewed the current state and prospects for developing bilateral interaction in the consular sphere, as well as issues of organized labor migration.
Participants paid special attention to protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, strengthening cooperation between competent authorities, and increasing the efficiency of providing consular and legal assistance.
Cooperation in the field of mobility and migration was a separate topic of discussion. The parties studied opportunities to improve mechanisms for organized and safe labor mobility, expand channels for legal migration, implement joint measures to reduce illegal migration, and ensure proper living conditions and compliance with occupational safety requirements for Uzbek citizens working in the Republic of Korea.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue regular dialogue and practical interaction between the consular services of the two countries, expand the legal framework for cooperation, and activate the holding of such consultations.
