The volume of market services in Uzbekistan for the period from January to June 2026 reached 664.9 trillion soms, representing an increase of 16.9% compared to the same period last year. According to data from the National Statistical Committee, financial services, architectural and engineering services, educational, and communication and information services demonstrated the fastest growth.
The financial sector recorded the highest growth rate at 26.3%. This was followed by architectural services, engineering surveys, technical testing and analysis, which increased by 24.6%.
Educational services grew by 22.7%, while communication and information services showed growth at 22.1%. Growth was also noted in real estate services at 18.3% and medical services at 16.8%, while other services increased by 16.3%.
Trade services grew by 14.9%, transport services by 14.7%, and personal services by 14.2%. More moderate growth was observed in accommodation and catering services (11.6%), computer and household appliance repair (11.4%), and rental services (7.4%).
Thus, among the listed types of services, financial services demonstrated the fastest growth in the first half of 2026, surpassing architectural and engineering, educational, and communication and information services.
