On August 14 in Tashkent, a meeting took place between Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, and representatives of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC).
During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues related to the development of the pharmaceutical industry, the creation of modern production and research infrastructure, as well as the implementation of large investment projects, according to the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry.
Particular attention was paid to the potential application of international experience and modern construction solutions by CSCEC in creating facilities for the BioPharma City pharmaceutical cluster.
The participants specifically reviewed the prospects for building modern laboratories, research centers, production capacities, and engineering infrastructure. Furthermore, the use of advanced technologies in the design and construction of facilities, attracting investments, and the possibility of jointly implementing large-scale infrastructure projects were discussed.
After the meetings concluded, the parties exchanged views regarding further cooperation in the areas that were covered during the discussions.
