Legal entities that are clients of Octobank can now make payments and conduct currency conversion operations in sixteen key global currencies belonging to the G16 group.
This set of currencies covers the main areas of world trade, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Among these currencies are AED, CNH, SGD, EUR, GBP, CHF, PLN, CZK, SEK, NOK, DKK, CAD, MXN, AUD, NZD, and JPY.
This expansion provides companies with the convenience of settling accounts with foreign partners directly in the currency specified in the foreign trade agreement.
The significance of multi-currency for business
Bakhodir Mirzaev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Octobank, emphasized that modern international trade is becoming increasingly multi-currency. He noted that the company may have suppliers in China, partners in the UAE, and clients in Europe, and each of them requires its own currency for settlement.
According to Mirzaev, the task of a modern bank is not only to carry out international payments but also to create infrastructure that ensures comfortable operation for businesses in various markets. He added that a bank is considered a reliable partner if it facilitates the promotion of the company.
Accessibility of operations via internet banking
Currency conversion operations and international transfers are available to Octobank clients through internet banking. This means that the client does not need to visit a physical branch to submit an application or carry out the operation itself; the entire process is carried out in digital format.
Octobank positions itself as a partner that helps businesses develop confidently, explore new markets, and achieve growth.
