The two-day Techvviz 2026 competition, held at Vasant Valley School, concluded with an awards ceremony on Friday. This competition, focused on technology, innovation, creativity, and business ideas, gathered about 20 students from across the country. During the event, students showcased their skills in technical understanding, creative thinking, teamwork, and presentation across various competitions.
Numerous contests were held within Techvviz, including robotics, Pixel on Graphics, multimedia contest, Byte Battles, Innovate, and Music Bytes. Participants had the opportunity to present their projects and ideas to the jury. The jury asked questions about the projects and concepts, to which participants responded confidently.
Vasant Valley School won the overall Techvviz 2026 championship. The school's students secured numerous important prizes by performing brilliantly in different categories. Specifically, Vasant Valley School took first place in both the Innovate Junior and Innovate Senior categories.
Other schools also showed outstanding results in individual contests. Satyam Public School from Gurugram took first place in the Pixel-on-Graphics Junior category, while Ambient Public School won in robotics. Delhi Public School received a Special Mention in the multimedia contest. Students who placed first, second, and third in various nominations were awarded prizes and certificates.
Techvviz was not limited to technical competitions; it also gave students the opportunity to understand how any idea can be developed and applied in practice. Participants mentioned that during the competition, they considered topics such as understanding consumer needs, marketing, procurement, attracting buyers, and taking a business to the next level. According to the students, such projects motivate them to think in terms of business and entrepreneurship in the future.
Students noted that Techvviz was an excellent 'learning experience' for them. Many participants reported spending several weeks working on their project while preparing for the competition. Furthermore, they gained experience in presenting their thoughts on stage, speaking before an audience, and answering the jury's questions.
According to the students, facing the questions posed by the jury was both challenging and educational. They emphasized that participating in such events promotes the development of communication skills, teamwork, leadership, creativity, and self-confidence.
The main guest of the event, Reha Puri, boosted the morale of all participants and highly praised their diligence. She stated that the students' achievements are due to their efforts, creative thinking, and constant pursuit of learning. She urged the students to keep moving forward and conducting new experiments, stressing that in the age of technology, it is crucial to learn new things, present one's ideas, and bring them to life.
In an interview with 'Aaj Tak', the students also highlighted the significant role of the school teachers in their success. They said that their teachers constantly motivate them to work on innovative ideas and think outside the box. One student noted that thanks to the guidance and support of the teachers, he gains confidence in working on new ideas. In the students' opinion, this continuous support is what drives them to achieve the best results in various competitions and bring glory to their school.
Students believe that events like Techvviz not only give them a chance to win a competition but also teach them many important real-life skills. By working on technology, robotics, multimedia, innovations, and business ideas, they learned to identify problems and develop solutions for them. Participants added that this experience gives them the confidence to work on new ideas, advance in the fields of business and technology, and turn their dreams into reality in the future.
