From January to June 2026, 7.7 million square meters of individual housing were commissioned in Uzbekistan. This figure showed a growth of 7.2% compared to the same period last year.
According to information from the National Committee on Statistics, the largest volume of residential buildings was constructed in two regions of the country. The undisputed leaders were Tashkent Region, where 984.1 thousand square meters were commissioned, and Bukhara Region, which showed 978.5 thousand square meters.
Other regions also contributed to construction: Khorezm Region introduced 797.0 thousand square meters, and Surkhandarya Region introduced 699.9 thousand square meters. Namangan Region reported 697.1 thousand square meters, and Fergana Region reported 691.2 thousand square meters.
In addition, Kashkadarya built 510.4 thousand square meters of housing in six months, Tashkent city itself built 493.3 thousand square meters, and Karakalpakstan built 463.7 thousand square meters.
The indicator in Jizzakh Region was 396.7 thousand square meters, while Andijan Region contributed 373.8 thousand square meters, and Navoi Region contributed 353.7 thousand square meters.
The smallest amount of housing among the regions appeared in Samarkand Region, where 200.3 thousand square meters were commissioned, and in Syrdarya Region, where this figure reached 63.2 thousand square meters.
