The Interlagos Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place between August 13th and 16th at the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo. The event is expected to continue being the main showcase point for new models in the Brazilian motorcycle market, even without official confirmations from all manufacturers regarding their new offerings.
Some models have already been announced for Brazil and are just awaiting arrival dates at dealerships, while others generate great anticipation due to registrations, teasers, or launches in neighboring countries.
Four motorcycles with potential to debut at Interlagos Festival 2026
Among the most anticipated motorcycles is the Honda CB1000 Hornet. This four-cylinder faired bike was promised for the Brazilian market during the Interlagos Festival of 2025, with an initial forecast for the first half of this year. Due to the launch postponement, the festival is configured as the most likely moment for its debut.
The CB1000 Hornet represents the return of the traditional Hornet in its most powerful version, aiming to recapture public interest in the old four-cylinder versions. Internationally, it features a four-cylinder engine of about 1,000 cc, capable of generating approximately 150 hp, in addition to having electronic throttle, traction control, riding modes, and inverted front suspension.
Another highly anticipated novelty is the BMW F 450 GS. This trail bike was presented globally after evolving from a concept shown in 2024 and is expected to succeed the G 310 GS as the brand's smallest trail model.
The model uses a new 420 cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 48 hp, which meets the A2 category requirements in Europe. However, its differential goes beyond performance: 19-inch front wheels, long-travel KYB suspensions, complete electronics, TFT display with connectivity, and features like quickshifter and automatic clutch elevate its level compared to the previous G 310 GS.
Although BMW has not officially confirmed its entry into Brazil, the market anticipates its appearance at the Festival, given the model's importance to the company's future plans.
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350
Royal Enfield also plans to use the Interlagos Festival to expand its line of retro motorcycles. One of the candidates is the Goan Classic 350, a variation inspired by the bobber style that has already been confirmed for the Brazilian market.
Based on the Classic 350, this motorcycle maintains the 349 cc single-cylinder engine but presents a distinct visual identity, including a lowered single seat, higher handlebars, white-wall tires, spoked wheels, and new finishing options. This strategy aims to enrich the manufacturer's portfolio in the 350 platform, offering a more customizable alternative for classic style enthusiasts.
Finishing the list is the Kawasaki KLX 230. Although there is no confirmed launch in Brazil yet, the bike has been pointed out as a possible new arrival for the Interlagos Festival, following teasers released by the brand on social media and its recent presentation in South American markets, such as Argentina.
If introduced to the country, the KLX 230 will compete in a segment currently dominated by the Honda XR300L Tornado and Yamaha Lander 250. Its focus is on simplicity and off-road use, equipped with a 233 cc single-cylinder engine, six-speed gearbox, 21 and 18-inch wheels, long-travel suspension, and ABS with optional rear wheel deactivation. However, Kawasaki's arrival in Brazil still depends on official confirmation.
As the Interlagos Festival increasingly establishes itself as the main showcase for the two-wheel sector in the country, there is a high probability that other manufacturers will also present innovations during the event. Until we can speculate about news like a new Harley-Davidson, the Honda CB1000 Hornet, BMW F 450 GS, Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, and Kawasaki KLX 230 are the motorcycles that most excite Brazilian motorcyclists for the 2026 edition.
