Pakistani series 'Muhafiz' criticized for resemblance to Salman Khan's film 'Bodyguard'

Two famous Bollywood actors, Govinda and Salman Khan, delighted audiences with their joint participation in the film 'Partner'. However, a little-known story behind this on-screen chemistry has now emerged. Govinda recalled how before the start of filming, he helped Salman Khan overcome the most difficult period of his life, restoring his sense of self-worth and strength.

In an interview with ANI, Govinda shared that when they were preparing to shoot 'Partner', Salman Khan was experiencing severe personal suffering and problems. Govinda noted: 'When a person is upset because of hopes, expectations, or love, no one else can easily fix it. During that period, Salman started withdrawing into himself.'

Feeling the need to talk to Salman and make him face reality, Govinda suggested they meet. He recounted that they drank beverages together, and during this conversation, Govinda told Salman: 'Salman, you have seen much of the outside world; now look a little inside yourself.'

Govinda also mentioned that at that time, he himself had stepped away from politics and gained weight up to 114 kilograms. Addressing Salman, he explained: 'While I am losing weight, I will be able to play roles like the comedic role in 'Partner'. But you are the main character! Unfortunately, you don't look like a hero right now. Sadness and disappointment are clearly visible on your face; you need to get out of this state as soon as possible.'

After Govinda's words, Salman asked what he should do to get out of this situation. Govinda advised him to engage in intensive exercises for two to three hours daily. He told Salman: 'After Dharmendra, if there is such an actor in the industry whom God has given a magnificent face, a wonderful personality, and full family support, it is you. You have such an aura that people, upon seeing you, will say: yes, this is a real hero.'

This advice from Govinda deeply touched Salman Khan. Not only did he follow this advice, but he also worked diligently on his physical condition and career. Govinda reported that he told Salman that he would rule the film industry for the next ten years, and Salman indeed achieved this.

It is worth noting that the film 'Partner', directed by David Dhawan, was released on July 20, 2007. This romantic comedy was a box office success. The chemistry between Salman and Govinda, as well as songs like 'Do You Wanna Partner', 'Sony De Nakhre', and 'You Are My Love', won the hearts of the audience.
