According to data from the National Statistical Committee, a total of 229.7 kilometers of water supply networks were commissioned in Uzbekistan from January to June 2026.
The majority of the new networks were built in rural areas, amounting to 205.9 kilometers, which is equivalent to 89.6% of the total volume.
Distribution of commissioned networks by region
The longest stretch of commissioned water pipelines was recorded in the Samarkand region, where 94.6 kilometers were launched. Additionally, 70.2 kilometers of water supply networks were commissioned in the Jizzakh region, and 42.9 kilometers in the Fergana region.
In the Karakalpakstan Republic, the length of operational networks reached 22 kilometers. Thus, these four regions accounted for the entire volume of 229.7 kilometers of water supply networks commissioned across the country in the first six months of the year.
