Actress Rishika Singh criticizes Yash's film trailer 'Toxic', warning of consequences

Residents are eagerly awaiting the long-awaited film 'Ramayana,' which is scheduled for release in 2026. Its recently released trailer has elicited mixed reactions from the public. Actor Gajendra Chauhan, who portrayed Yudhishthira in B.R. Chopra's series 'Mahabharata,' offered his assessment of the trailer, noting that he was displeased with Ranbir's portrayal.

Gajendra Chauhan expressed dissatisfaction with the 'Ramayana' trailer, which boasts a budget of 4000 crore. He also raised questions regarding the casting choices and the actors' attire. In an interview for the Indian audience, Gajendra shared his thoughts on the trailer. He stated that after watching it, he did not feel impressed.

He recalled his role in B.R. Chopra's 'Ramayana,' where he played Dasharatha, and mentioned that the scene with Kaikeyi and Dasharatha was captivating. This scene required an entire day of shooting because Ravi Chopra insisted it be shot in one take to maintain its impact, calling this scene the 'soul of Ramayana.'

Gajendra Chauhan acknowledged that the creators invested heavily in the film's production, and the producers aimed to create a good project. However, he found the graphics insufficiently impressive, suggesting that realism would have been better utilized instead. He also noted that the scene with Kaikeyi and Vardhan did not impress him because their costumes appeared modern. He emphasized that in their version of 'Ramayana,' Kaikeyi wore black clothing.

Although a final verdict can only be reached after watching the entire film, he stated that 'Ramayana' and 'Mahabharata' reflect culture and civilization. He warned that adding modern graphical elements or creating palaces using graphics as a backdrop strips the work of its essence. He added that older versions of 'Ramayana' and 'Mahabharata' were popular precisely because they were realistic, not because of the presence of special effects.

Regarding the cast, he observed that many stars today have established images, which makes it difficult for them to embody mythological roles, and audiences might not accept them in those roles. While Ranbir Kapoor looks good in his role, he noted that until the film is released, it is difficult to judge whether his image aligns with our perception of Rama—his appearance, royal status, etc.

He highly praised Arun Govil's casting as Dasharatha following his role as Rama. The film 'Ramayana' is planned for theatrical release to coincide with Diwali this year. Sai Pallavi, Sani Deol, Ravi Dubey, and Yash Aham will also participate in the film.

Television host Shivangi Joshi has become the center of serious controversy related to Season 2 of the show Lock Upp. Discussions that began among social media users have escalated into open criticism from her former colleagues on set.

The conflict intensified after actress Aanchal Khurana raised questions about Shivangi's personal qualities, stating that she possesses screenshots of old conversations.

Aanchal shared a video on Instagram, claiming that several years ago, during the filming of one show, Shivangi's boyfriend was also involved. According to Aanchal, Shivangi sent her and her friend a long message demanding they stay away from her boyfriend. Furthermore, she accused Shivangi of trying to seduce her boyfriend.

Aanchal also noted that this boyfriend was not actually faithful to Shivangi, and she didn't care about the relationship. She added that she is speaking out now because Shivangi's fans constantly harass her. Aanchal emphasized that people see Shivangi on screen and consider her very good, but in real life, her character is completely different, and she is just acting.

Referring to Lock Upp Season 2, Aanchal stated that Shivangi's true behavior became evident even in the show. At the same time, she highly praised Harshad Chopra, calling him sincere, innocent, and a genuine person.

In the video, Aanchal Khurana was commented on by Kanchi Singh, an actress from the series 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and a former colleague of Shivangi. Kanchi wrote that she fully understands Aanchal Khurana's words and that she explained everything well. Thus, Kanchi hinted that she understands Aanchal's words well and is familiar with similar experiences. In response to this comment, Aanchal thanked her.

The situation did not stop there. Television actor Nitin Bhatia also left a comment mocking Shivangi, writing: 'Haha, she is truly a drama queen.' He reminded that Kanchi worked with Shivangi in the series 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', and Nitin worked with her in the series 'Woh Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.'

In another comment, Aanchal stated that she still has screenshots of that correspondence. She also stressed that she is not insulting any woman, but merely telling the truth, regardless of who is in front of her.

Indeed, in Lock Upp 2, Harshad Chopra allowed Shivangi Joshi to reach the final instead of his finalist. Although many highly praised Harshad's decision, a discussion started on social media about whether Shivangi deserved that spot.

Amidst this debate, Aanchal Khurana released a video with serious accusations against Shivangi regarding her off-screen behavior. Following this, comments from former colleagues like Kanchi Singh and Nitin Bhatia intensified the dispute. Although Shivangi Joshi's team has not yet given an official response to these accusations, her fans claim that they are trying to tarnish her reputation by bringing up old personal disagreements on social media, while critics insist that the statements made by Aanchal and other actors cast doubt on Shivangi's public image.
