This list included the announcement that Bollywood actor Ahaj Devgan would host the popular crime show 'Crime Patrol'. This show has long been associated with Anup Sony, who hosted it for over ten years. Following this, Anup Sony shared his thoughts regarding these changes.

After Ahaj was announced as the new host, Anup shared his views on this change and on his legacy in the 'Crime Patrol' show. Anup Sony told a news agency that nothing in his career is more significant than 'Crime Patrol', and regardless of what other work he does, people will remember him because of this show. He added that before 'Crime Patrol', people knew him from his role in 'Balika Vadhu', but after 'Crime Patrol' launched, they forgot about 'Balika Vadhu'.

Recalling advice from legendary actor Anil Kapoor, Anup Sony noted that some roles or projects become turning points in an actor's life. He advised: 'Since these things have become famous, instead of running away from them as an actor, one should accept them.'

Now that Ahaj Devgan is taking on the role of host in 'Crime Patrol', Sony's comments demonstrate the long-term influence of this show on his career.

At the beginning of this week, the creators of 'Crime Patrol' released the first promotional video for the new season, in which Ahaj appeared, giving viewers their first glimpse of his role as host. The show is scheduled to start on Sony Entertainment Television on August 31.

However, according to Bollywood Hungama, these reports are inaccurate. The source informed Bollywood Hungama that Ahaj Devgan did not replace Anup Sony as the host of 'Crime Patrol'. Instead, Ahaj is joining as a special host and will appear only in select episodes.

'Crime Patrol' started on Sony in 2003, hosted by Divakar Pundir, and in 2004, he was replaced by Shakti Anand. The show closed in 2006 and was later resumed in 2010 with Anup Sony and Sakshi Tanwar. After 2011, Anup took sole responsibility for hosting and continued to host the show until 2018. Since then, various seasons have been hosted by Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Sonali Kulkarani, Ashutosh Rana, and Sanjeev Tyagi.
