The largest number of registered IPs is in Tashkent, with 58,088 people. This is followed by Fergana region with 40,259 IPs, Samarkand region with 37,365, Tashkent region with 35,173, and Andijan region with 31,683.
In Kashkadarya region, 27,542 individual entrepreneurs are registered, and in Namangan region, there are 27,003. It was also noted that there are 22,383 IPs in Bukhara region, 22,053 in Karakalpakstan, 20,302 in Surkhandarya region, and 18,965 in Khorezm region.
The minimum number of IPs was recorded in Jizzakh region (14,339), Syrdarya region (10,286), and Navoi region (9,630).
It was previously announced that since the beginning of 2026, individual entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan have had the opportunity to register trade names. Additionally, for IPs whose annual turnover does not exceed 1 billion soms, the turnover tax rate has been reduced to 1%.
According to the National Statistical Committee, as of July 1, 2026, there were 32 business entities registered per 1000 inhabitants in Uzbekistan.
The highest indicator was recorded in the city of Tashkent, where there were 50 business entities per 1000 people. This was followed by the Khorezm region with an indicator of 46, the Syrdarya region with 41, and the Navoi region with 38.
In the Jizzakh and Bukhara regions, this figure was 35 business entities per 1000 inhabitants. In the Tashkent region, the figure reached 33, and in the Andijan region—32.
In the Karakalpakstan Republic, 30 business entities were registered per 1000 inhabitants. The indicators in the Fergana and Samarkand regions were 27 each, while in the Kashkadarya and Namangan regions—26 each.
The lowest indicator was noted in the Sokhondarya region, where there were only 24 business entities per 1000 inhabitants. It should be noted that all presented figures are rounded, according to the statistical agency.
