Despite the overall downward trend in the market, shares of LensKart Solutions, which provides vision care services and manufactures eyeglasses, demonstrated a sharp rise. LensKart Solutions shares made a strong surge, rising by approximately 7% from the previous close of 585 rupees, reaching the level of 626.95 rupees. This level became a new 52-week high for LensKart shares. Thanks to this growth, the company's market capitalization increased to 1.04 lakh crore rupees.
The main reason for such rapid growth in LensKart shares was the excellent financial results published by the company for the first quarter. In the first quarter of the fiscal year 27, LensKart's Profit After Tax (PAT) grew by 182.3% year-on-year, reaching 228 crore rupees. In the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, this figure was 61 crore rupees. Furthermore, operating income also grew by 33.6% year-on-year, amounting to 2,714 crore rupees compared to 1,894 crore rupees for the same period last year.
