Jeep has introduced its first new model in five years, the Avenger. This new vehicle positions the brand in the entry-level compact SUV segment, competing with models such as VW Tera, Renault Kardian, Chevrolet Sonic, Honda WR-V, and Fiat Pulse, the latter being part of the Stellantis group.
The Jeep Avenger is available in the market in three price configurations, ranging from R$ 114,990 (promotional price) to R$ 145,990. The Altitude version has a limited launch promotional price and is distributed in two batches: 1,000 units without accessories and 2,000 units equipped with the High package.
Production of the Jeep Avenger takes place in Porto Real, Rio de Janeiro, at the same factory that produces three Citroën models: C3, Aircross, and Basalt. This coincidence is due to the fact that the new SUV shares the CMP platform with the French vehicles. Consequently, it will be the first Jeep commercialized in Brazil without the 4x4 traction option.
Stellantis' strategy with this launch aims to attract new customers to Jeep. The Avenger's design maintains classic elements of the American brand but presents a lower technical sophistication than the Renegade, despite incorporating innovative equipment, such as Matrix LED headlights.
Typical Jeep visual characteristics include the seven openings on the grille (which are illuminated in the Longitude version), X-shaped taillights, and trapezoidal wheel arches. Furthermore, the brand assures that the Avenger has the best approach angle (22°) and departure angle (up to 33.9°) in its category, along with a ground clearance of 221 mm, which allows for small off-road adventures even using only front-wheel drive.
In terms of interior space, the Jeep Avenger is considered a weak point, especially due to the trunk which accommodates only 321 liters in the VDA method, considered the most accurate.
The Avenger's suspension consists of McPherson in the front and a torsion bar in the rear, while the braking system uses discs on all four wheels. The vehicle is equipped with the T200 1.0 turbo MHEV engine, in addition to having reduced power to fit into a more advantageous tax bracket. With a 12-volt mild hybrid system, it generates 116 hp and 20.4 kgfm (200 Nm) of torque, coupled with a 7-speed automatic CVT gearbox.
The Avenger is offered in three versions: Altitude, Longitude, and Limited. Each has a distinct set of standard items. The Altitude version includes LED headlights with DRL, Hill Holder, Hill Descent Control, six airbags, digital air conditioning, Forward Collision Warning with Emergency Braking (AEB) with camera, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist (LDW/LKA), fabric seats, 7-inch digital cluster, 10-inch multimedia center with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), driver fatigue detector, 1 USB and 1 USB-C ports, emergency spare tire, electric parking brake, darkened LED taillights, black door handles and side mirrors, and ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control).
The Longitude version comes with fabric and vinyl seats, longitudinal roof rails, rearview camera, cornering fog lights, body-colored door handles, paddle shifters, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather multifunction steering wheel, and piano black trim, Walk Away Lock, Hill Holder, Hill Descent Control, six airbags, automatic digital air conditioning, AEB with camera and radar, LDW/LKA, 10-inch multimedia center with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7-inch digital cluster, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), driver fatigue detector, 1 USB and 1 USB-C ports, emergency spare tire, LED DRL taillights, electric parking brake, darkened LED taillights, Keyless Entry N Go, Cruise Control, traffic sign recognition, Selec-Terrain, rain sensor, rear parking sensor, and TPMS, rear speakers, Wireless Charger, and piano black mirrors.

Another option is the Sunroof + Jeep Adventure Intelligence, which includes a Sunroof, Jeep Adventure Intelligence with embedded ChatGPT, and a 10.25-inch Full Digital Cluster.
