According to information provided by Elimbek Kanibek uulu, Head of the EAEU Coordination Department of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, updated customs norms for goods imported through foreign marketplaces will be introduced in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) starting January 1, 2027.
The new customs duty rate will be 5% of the product's value, but a minimum fee of 1 euro per kilogram will be established. Furthermore, the duty-free limit for goods intended for personal use will remain in place.
As Kanibek uulu noted, this new procedure will also apply to purchases made on Chinese marketplaces. The new mechanism for regulating external e-commerce is planned to come into effect on January 1, 2027. Goods acquired through electronic trade will be categorized separately and will fall under a unified customs regime.
According to Kanibek uulu, work is currently underway to amend the EAEU agreement regarding the taxation of e-commerce goods. Previously, the creation of a national e-commerce operator in Kyrgyzstan was announced, which will be responsible for processing online purchases and returns.
It is important to note that personal purchases valued up to 200 euros will remain exempt from customs duties, while a new regulation will apply to higher-value goods.
According to Sergey Beskrestny, a advisor to Zelensky, Russia's 'Rassvet' satellite communication system continues to improve and could potentially become a serious problem for Ukraine. He shared this information on his Telegram channel.
Beskrestny noted that the communication capabilities of Russian troops along the line of contact are constantly improving. The expansion of the 'Rassvet' network will enhance the ability to remotely control unmanned aerial vehicles via satellite communication.
The advisor emphasized that currently, 'Starlink' is not functioning for controlling Ukrainian drones online over Russian territory. However, if Russia fully establishes its satellite network, such restrictions may disappear even over Ukrainian territory.
For this reason, he called the development of countermeasures against 'Rassvet' one of the priority tasks. According to information from 'Bureau 1440', the 'Rassvet' satellites have already formed a unified orbital chain, enabling communication over Ukrainian territory for more than two hours per day.
The initial group of 16 'Rassvet' satellites was launched into orbit on March 23. Furthermore, the company reported the successful launch of a second batch of satellites on July 20. In the future, 'Bureau 1440' plans to create a network consisting of hundreds of low-orbit devices. Previously, 'Bureau 1440' conducted tests of communication based on 5G NTN technology between a satellite and a ground subscriber terminal.
The implementation of a project to construct centralized water supply systems in the center of the Karman district of the Navoi region has begun. During the solemn ceremony of laying the foundation for the facilities that will be built as part of the project, the head of the 'Uzsuvtaʼminot' Administration, Ahmad Suvonkulov, the deputy governor of the region, Akbar Niyozov, the head of the Karman district, Shohrukh Boltayev, and public representatives took part.
It is emphasized that in recent years, close attention has been paid to ensuring the population receives quality utility services, modernizing engineering and communication infrastructure, and strengthening environmental safety in the country.
One of the key documents aimed at achieving these goals is the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 18, 2022, on measures to implement projects for the construction and reconstruction of water supply systems in the Karman district of the Navoi region and in the Shahrisabz city and Kitob district of the Kashkadarya region. In accordance with this decision, a large investment project is being implemented to create centralized water supply systems in the Karman district of the Navoi region.
The total cost of the project is 28.5 million US dollars. Of this amount, 25.2 million US dollars are financed by the French Development Agency, and the remaining 3.3 million US dollars are covered by the Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to Azh Otabek Zaripov, head of 'Navoiysuvtaʼminoti', the project will be implemented in three stages. The first stage will involve the construction of a modern wastewater treatment facility with a capacity of 8.2 thousand cubic meters. The second stage plans for the creation of water pipelines spanning 152 kilometers. The final stage includes the construction of four pumping stations (PS) for pumping wastewater and associated pressure pipelines.
As a result of the project's implementation, 55 thousand residents of the Karman district will receive centralized water supply for the first time. Furthermore, the coverage rate of this service in the region will increase from the current 0 percent to 90 percent.
The design is being carried out by the consortium 'SAFEGE Ankara' from Turkey and 'TUMAS2'. Technical support is provided by 'SEURECA' from France, '2Global Business Service' from Uzbekistan, and 'SMEC International PTY' from Australia. To date, $2.8 million has been attracted within the framework of the project. Tender procedures for the construction of the wastewater treatment facility have been completed, and a contract with the contractor is expected to be signed. Additionally, all design work for the pumping stations and water pipelines has been finalized, and the practical phase has begun.
It is planned to attract $10 million for the construction of the wastewater treatment facility in 2026, complete two major tenders, and sign agreements with contracting organizations.
During a video selection meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on July 27 of this year, upcoming priority tasks in the fuel and energy complex sector were discussed. It was noted that although the use of liquefied gas has been digitized and organized, the issue of timely and guaranteed delivery has not been fully resolved. Therefore, it was proposed to diversify the volumes of gas cylinders based on the actual needs of households.

From January to June 2026, a total of 35,472.53 tons of liquefied gas were delivered to 488,083 consumers in 754 settlements, covering 61% of consumers.
Murodjon Khojaev, Deputy Director of the 'Hududgaz Namangan' branch for liquefied gas supplies, noted that the new digitization system allows for improving the quality of gas cylinder distribution services and ensuring that the product reaches the end consumer directly. When analyzing the volume of liquefied gas delivered by districts, the following districts contributed the most: Namangan city (3,533.86 tons), Norin (3,510.18 tons), To'raqo'rg'on (3,343.80 tons), Kosonsoy (3,285.84 tons), Uchii (3,232.88 tons), and Yangiqo'rg'on (3,099.82 tons).
