The organization of this event was a topic of discussion at a meeting between the head of the Executive Committee of Minsk, Vladimir Kukharev, and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus, Nuriddin Mamajonov.
Furthermore, on August 13, the opening of the Namangan region trade house in Minsk was announced. According to Mamajonov, such trade venues contribute to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus not only at the republican level but also at the regional level.
During the meeting, issues regarding the expansion of ties in areas such as industrial cooperation, medicine, education, and tourism were also considered.
Vladimir Kukharev stated his readiness to assist in establishing cooperation for Belarusian enterprises that produce medical equipment and technology. Opportunities in the field of wood processing and furniture production were also noted.
The parties also discussed the issue of increasing the number of flights. In the opinion of the head of Minsk, this will promote tourism and accelerate contacts between business representatives.
