The launch of production facilities for electric vehicle charging devices is planned in the Fergana region. This project is being implemented with the participation of the Chinese company Teglong following a preliminary agreement reached during a working trip of an Uzbek delegation to China.
Delegation and Visit Goals
The Uzbek delegation, headed by Avazbek Temirov, head of the Fergana Regional Department of Uzenergoinspektsiya, included representatives from the Fergana city hokimiyat and local entrepreneurs. During the visit, the delegation toured major Chinese enterprises and held negotiations aimed at expanding investment cooperation.
Discussion of the Project with Teglong
During the meeting with Teglong director Bai Jiang, the parties discussed the creation of production capacities for EV charging devices in Fergana, which will be adapted to local conditions. The possibility of exporting the finished products to neighboring countries was also considered.
After concluding the negotiations, the parties reached preliminary agreements on the implementation of this project. It is expected that this cooperation will contribute to the development of modern industry and increase the level of production localization in the Fergana region.
