In response to pressure from the Brazilian government, Discord submitted a proposal containing measures aimed at strengthening user safeguards on the platform, with a special focus on children and adolescents.

This document was formally delivered on Monday, the 10th, after a series of meetings held between company representatives, the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

The discussions began after a report issued by the National Secretariat of Digital Rights of the Ministry of Justice, which identified deficiencies in age verification systems and the protections offered to young users by Discord.

According to the Attorney General's Office of the Union (AGU), the government required the company to implement actions considered effective for complying with national legislation. These demands included the creation of age verification mechanisms, risk prevention, and the protection of minors.

Currently, the suggestion presented by Discord is under joint analysis with other federal entities, such as the Ministry of Justice, the Federal Police, and the ANPD. After this evaluation, the government may negotiate with the company the formalization of a Conduct Adjustment Agreement (TAC), a legal instrument that defines the necessary commitments to align the platform's operation with current regulations.

The AGU emphasized, however, that the attempt to reach an agreement does not eliminate the possibility of administrative or judicial measures being taken if necessary to ensure compliance with the law and the safety of children and adolescents in the digital environment.

According to established rules, the entire amount received from the state auction sale will be divided equally among all seven partners.

Those who found the diamond hope that their financial problems will disappear and that a suitable girl will appear in their lives. The diamond was handed over to the State Diamond Office in Panna, from where the remaining amount after the auction will be sent directly to the workers' accounts after deducting royalties.

Santosh Kushwah, one of the diamond owners, expressed great joy at the find, stating that they will use this money for a wedding and the remaining amount to continue diamond mining operations. Another partner, Sarman Pal, also shared his happiness, noting that despite turning 45, poverty prevented him from marrying, but now he believes marriage will happen.

According to Ravi Patel, a mineral and diamond employee, a 16.96-carat 'Gem Quality' diamond was discovered in the agricultural mine. This diamond was placed in the Panna Diamond Office, where the remaining amount after the auction will be transferred to the workers' accounts after paying royalties.
