A meeting was held in the city dedicated to the tasks and prospects for the development of hockey and sports tourism before the Uzbekistan Hockey Federation. The event took place in the 'Olympic Village' of the capital.
Another meeting of the Executive Committee of the Asian Athletics Federation was held in the 'Olympic Village' of the capital city.
In Khovos, volleyball competitions were held as part of the 'Besh Tashabbus Olympiad' among young men and women in age groups 16–21, 22–30, and 22–30. These regional stages were conducted at a high level.
Teams that won in the preliminary stages, organized in all cities and districts of the region, participated in the competition to win the championship title and the right to advance to the republican stage. Every match on the court was characterized by intense struggle, fair competition, and the atmosphere of true sport.
During the contests, young volleyball players demonstrated a high level of athletic skill, physical fitness, and team spirit. The participants in the final matches were particularly impressive, whose will, desire to win, and fight until the last minute earned applause from the spectators.
Following the final games, the regional champions were determined. In the female age group 16–21, the team from Bayovut district won, and among the young men, the team from Guliston district won. In the female category 22–30, the championship was won by the team from Mirzaobod district, and among the young men, the team from Guliston district.
At the end of the tournament, the winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, medals, and commemorative gifts. The teams that came in first place gained the right to represent the Syrdarya region at the republican stage of the 'Besh Tashabbus Olympiad.'
It is emphasized that such competitions within the framework of the 'Besh Tashabbus Olympiad' play an important role in increasing youth interest in sports, forming a healthy competitive environment among them, identifying talented athletes, and further developing mass sports.
The subsequent regional volleyball competitions once again showed the high degree of youth love for sports, their desire to win, and team spirit. Most importantly, confidence was strengthened that the winning teams would honor the region's reputation at the republican level.
