On Saturday, August 8th, Logitech G organized the Racing Series final at the Panamerican Circuit, a Pirelli test track located in Elias Fausto, in the interior of São Paulo. The event contrasted simulator cockpits located in the pit area with real Formula Vee cars, their engines running, awaiting the five drivers who had competed for 39 days to secure a spot.
The Logitech G Racing Series was created to celebrate the launch of the RS (Racing Series) line, which consists of a new generation of the brand's steering wheels, pedals, and shifters, aimed at Sim Racing enthusiasts who have mastered the basics and wish to professionalize their home equipment. The competition gathered over 3,500 participants from all over Brazil, five teams formed in drafts, and culminated in a final that combined a theoretical course, virtual competition, and, for most, the experience with an authentic race car.
The Racing Series was structured in four free phases, accessible to anyone over 18 years old holding a Class B or higher driver's license, an essential requirement since the final phase demanded real driving. The opening consisted of lap times recorded in the Automobilista 2 simulator. Participants could record their times by playing the free demo version anywhere or in person at partner stores such as Fujioka, Kalunga, Fast Shop, Nagem, and Progaming. After this selection, the 50 fastest drivers advanced to the next stage.
With the 50 qualifiers, Logitech G formed five teams, each composed of ten drivers, and provided each team with an influencer and a pilot-coach to guide preparation until the virtual phase. Three subsequent stages—Interlagos, Velocitta, and Cascavel—determined, within each team, which driver would advance to the grand final. Upon completion of this internal competition, each of the five teams selected its representative, forming the final group of five competitors.
The final phase included a theoretical course on driving techniques, one last competition in the simulator among the five finalists, and, as the climax, the opportunity to drive a Formula Vee at the Panamerican Circuit. Leandro Rocha, Logitech G's product manager in Brazil, commented on the event's growth, stating that the championship, which started on July 1st, impacted more than 15 million accounts and had over 3,500 registrations across Brazil, expressing great satisfaction with community support.
Before any real driving, there was mandatory training, including a theoretical course and driving guidance, respecting a speed limit set by production to ensure safety. Only after this were the five finalists and invited influencers driven individually in the Formula Vee. During the event, it was reported that no one anticipated the similarity between the feeling of the simulator and that of the real vehicle. Creators such as Lelitz, Alessandro 'The Darkness', and Thamas Morelli were present, as were invited drivers Antonella Bassani and Arthur Gama, sharing the track with the finalists.
In the decisive race, Rafael Ceotto and Cezar Camargo dominated the track, exchanging overtaking threats until the end. Rafael Ceotto achieved victory, finishing ahead by only seven tenths of a second, the smallest margin of the entire season.
All five finalists received prizes, guaranteeing at least one new RS50 wheel. The first-place winner received a Logitech G RS50 Wheel, RS Pedals, Astro A50X Headset, Simulator Cockpit, and TCL Monitor. The second-place winner received a Logitech G RS50 Wheel, RS Pedals, Astro A20X Headset, Simulator Cockpit, and TCL Monitor. In a personal account, the author mentioned that despite having years of driving experience, he had never participated in a racing simulator before that Saturday. A relevant point highlighted was that three of the five finalists performed the initial tests at home using the Logitech G29, the brand's entry-level model, proving that a simpler wheel can deliver good performance, and that the advancement to the RS50 lies in immersion, not just minimum performance. The Racing Series aims to promote the RS line, whose main component is the RS50 wheel, offering 8 newtons of force in direct drive, compared to the 11 Nm of the G PRO, representing an immersion leap for those who own older models like the G29 or G923 with TRUEFORCE and seek to professionalize their setup. The line also includes the RS Pedals and the RS H-Shifter gearbox, with handbrake and new wheel rims planned.
According to Rocha, the differential of the RS line is not just the motor power, but the capacity for customization and progressive upgrades. It is possible to start by updating only the wheel base or the existing pedal, and gradually add other components such as a new rim or gearbox, achieving a unique immersion. Furthermore, Logitech G cited Newzoo data indicating that the gaming industry continues to grow driven by PC, with over 1 billion players worldwide, and emerging markets like Brazil contributing significantly. A global survey by the brand revealed that 60.87% of Brazilians consider pursuing a career in professional gaming to be more aspirational today than ten years ago.
Rocha concluded that the Brazilian community shows great appreciation for motorsport and racing games, and that the Logitech G Racing Series seeks to unite these two passions, offering an accessible experience for both beginners and experienced Sim Racing members. He added that Sim Racing unites technology, skill, and passion, and the company intends to support this growth by offering products that allow players to evolve according to their expectations.

As a prize, the three drivers who reach the podium at the Panamerican Circuit will receive a TCL QD-Mini LED 34R83Q curved gaming monitor. This equipment features a 34-inch screen, a 180 Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms response time, compatible with FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC technologies, features designed to minimize glitches such as cuts and visual inconsistencies during games.
