FA Gifts Private Limited, a Gurugram-based company behind the online gift platform FlowerAura and the bakery Bakingo, has successfully raised an amount approaching 100 crore rupees. These funds were secured from two funds managed by the private investment firm Faering Capital.
Following the receipt of the funds, the company allocated 7,436 Series B preferred convertible shares to investors. The Board of Directors of FA Gifts approved this distribution on July 30, 2026, according to the board minutes.
The investors were Faering Capital International Growth Fund III, which received 2,505 shares, and Faering Capital Growth Fund III, which received 4,931 shares. Both funds are alternative investment funds managed by Faering Capital, an Indian private investment firm specializing in growth-stage enterprises in the consumer market and retail sectors.
Faering's International Growth Fund is designed for investments in mid-market growth in India. The securities have a face value of 100 rupees each and were issued at a price of 1,34,477.51 rupees per unit, including a premium of 1,34,377.51 rupees. The latest resolution does not specify how this inflow of 100 crore rupees will be utilized.
This differs from a previous funding round announced by the company in November 2023, when Faering Capital invested $16 million for a minority stake in FA Gifts. At that time, co-founder and director Himanshu Chaula stated that the capital would be directed towards expanding Bakingo in second and third-tier cities, demand forecasting using technology, and opening offline stores.
FA Gifts was founded in 2010 with the FlowerAura platform, which sold flowers and gifts, and Bakingo was added in 2016. Currently, FlowerAura offers flowers, cakes, plants, personalized gifts, gift baskets, and other items for various occasions, delivering to hundreds of cities in India and international markets. Bakingo operates as the group's online bakery.
Larger players in this sector are increasingly focusing on scaling and profitability. For instance, Ferns N Petals reported a 25% revenue growth in the fiscal year 2026 and plans to go public (IPO) by 2028, along with further store expansion and acquisitions.
