Augment has developed an electric scooter designed to solve a common urban problem: finding parking. The 360 model is equipped with a seat, wide tires, and a foldable rear wheel, allowing it to be moved inside elevators, apartments, and offices.
This scooter combines the characteristics of a traditional scooter with the convenience of a foldable vehicle. It is available in two versions: one reaches a speed of 25 km/h, and the other reaches 45 km/h. Its stated range is up to 140 km, and it also features functions such as NFC unlocking and an anti-theft protection system.
The main innovation of the 360 model is the rear wheel, which folds under the frame. This reduces the dimensions of the vehicle to 1.265 x 350 x 1.180 mm. Furthermore, since the scooter weighs about 36 kg, it does not need to be transported; it is sufficient to simply push it to the desired location.
The design also contributes to comfort: 120/90-R10 tubeless tires are designed for better traversal of uneven city streets, and the spacious seat brings the riding experience closer to that of a classic scooter.
Technical specifications include an engine capable of developing a torque of 105 Nm, a maximum power of 2.14 kW, and a continuous power of 1.2 kW. Augment offers two configurations that comply with local regulations and intended use.
Key features of the scooter include the ability to connect to a mobile application to adjust driving modes and other parameters. Additionally, it can be unlocked using an NFC card. There is also an anti-theft protection mode that locks the rear wheel. Augment sells the 360 model for €1,890, which is equivalent to approximately 11.1 thousand Brazilian reais.
The company reported that the model is already available for order in many European countries and the UK, and it plans to carry out international deliveries. In the future, winter tires and fast charging will be offered.
