Furthermore, it became the first Hollywood film to reach this milestone so quickly. According to Saknilke, by the evening of the eleventh day, the film earned 30.4 crore rupees in net revenue, increasing the total collection to 411.15 crore rupees in net revenue.
Before the release of 'Spider-Man: New Day', the record for the highest collection in India was held by James Cameron's 'Avatar 2', which earned 390.6 crore rupees in net revenue over its entire run in 2022. Cameron's film took months to reach this level. However, the film starring Tom Holland achieved similar success in just a few days. Thus, Tom Holland's film became the highest-grossing in India. Projections suggest that the total revenue for 'Spider-Man: New Day' in India could approach 450 crore rupees in net revenue.
The pace of the film's advancement is impressive, and reaching this figure seems close. Nevertheless, two films, 'Bantwara 1947' and 'Avarapan 2', will be released in Indian cinemas soon. If both these films receive a positive response, Spider-Man's path may become difficult, otherwise, Tom Holland's film could achieve something incredible.
