Delhi University organized the 2026 admissions campaign on Saturday, which gathered over 500 participants and representatives from more than 75 institutions. The goal of this initiative was to create direct contact between students and potential employers to expand employment opportunities for students.
Students from fields such as tourism management, lifelong learning and empowerment, as well as social sciences, including those studying online or remotely, could participate in the event.
The campaign took place in the faculty conference hall from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The university reported that students had the opportunity to interact with recruiters, connect with professionals from various fields, and attend sessions dedicated to career counseling.
Among the key organizations participating in the campaign were 'Janhit Society for Social Welfare,' which works in the field of elderly education and social welfare, and 'Abhivyakti Foundation,' which deals with healthcare, skill development, hygiene, and improving living standards. 'Saraswati Educational Society,' 'Child Survival India,' 'Bal Vikas Dhara,' 'Samanvit Shiksha Sansthan,' and 'Akankshi Samiti' participated in education and social development. These organizations provide opportunities in child development, public health, education, and social work. Additionally, numerous institutes focused on education, social service, healthcare, research, human rights, and tourism also took part in the program. Tourism-related companies also offered job opportunities to students.
It is worth noting that the event was conducted under the guidance of Professor Yogesh Singh, Custodian of Delhi University. Professor Payal Mago, Director of the Open Learning Centre of Delhi University, and Professor Kumar Ashutosh, Head of the Department of Continuing Education and Extension, Delhi University, served as patrons, while Professor Ajay Jaiswal, Director of the Distance and Online Learning Centre of Delhi University, held the position of co-patron.
