There has been a significant change in the prices of gold and silver over the past week. Prices for both precious metals have changed on both the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the domestic market. Therefore, before purchasing jewelry or investing, it is crucial to check the latest price data.
Despite the sharp rise, silver is still being sold for more than 1.88 lakh rupees cheaper than its historical high per kilogram.
According to MCX data, the price of silver has increased significantly over five trading days. If the price for 1 kg of silver was 218,295 rupees on July 31, it reached 231,381 rupees by last Friday. Thus, over five days, the cost of silver increased by 13,086 rupees per kilogram.
Even after the recent surge, silver remains affordable below its record level. Even after the latest increase, silver is currently priced 1,88,244 rupees cheaper per kilogram.
In addition to MCX, there was also a rise in silver prices in the domestic market.
