A mini-football tournament named 'Khokim Cup' was organized in the Turtkul district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The goal of this event was to widely promote a healthy lifestyle among youth, improve their physical fitness, stimulate interest in sports, ensure meaningful leisure time, and support talented athletes.
The competition took place at the sports ground of the district's 1st vocational school. Football teams formed by employees of enterprises, organizations, and institutions operating in the district participated in the tournament. During the matches, participants demonstrated a spirit of friendship, adhering to the principles of sportsmanship and fair competition.
Each match was filled with tense and spectacular encounters, where footballers displayed a high level of skill, physical readiness, and team spirit. Following the tournament, which was held in an atmosphere of fair play, first place was taken by the team from the district internal affairs department, second place was won by the Security Service team, and third place was secured by the district youth leaders team.
The winning teams were duly awarded by representatives of the Turtkul District Hokimiyat with diplomas, cups, and valuable gifts. Additionally, participants who stood out due to high skill, active play, and exemplary participation were encouraged with certificates and valuable souvenirs in various nominations.
The 'Khokim Cup' tournament, held in honor of the 35th anniversary of the country's independence, played an important role in popularizing a healthy lifestyle in the district, developing mass sports, strengthening friendly relations between employees of enterprises and organizations, and attracting young people to sports activities.
