Specific goals and priority tasks were established in Sirdyor aimed at strengthening this system, expanding mass sports, early identification of talented youth, and directing them towards elite sports.
Efficient land use is the foundation of abundant harvests in agriculture. In the areas of Tuman, gardeners do not leave fields where grain crops have been harvested.
Instead, work continues on sowing secondary crops with the aim of obtaining two harvests from each piece of land. This contributes to providing the population with quality food products, maintaining price stability in the domestic market, and increasing the economic efficiency of farms.
The state policy in the country has been elevated to a national priority with the aim of protecting public health, modernizing the medical system, and ensuring the sector is staffed with highly qualified personnel. Thanks to the President's initiative, comprehensive measures have been implemented in recent years to reform the healthcare system, improve medical education in line with international standards, and, most importantly, provide decent employment for young graduates of higher education.
As part of these noble goals, a 'Job Fair' was held at the Abu Ali ibn Sina State Medical Institute to help graduate residents and master's students find employment. This event served as an important platform assisting young people in taking a confident step into their professional careers.
The event was conducted at a high level as part of the implementation of the 'Roadmap' approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Khokimiyat of the Bukhara Region. Attendees included the Rector of the institute, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Shukhrat Teshaev; the Deputy Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center named after Academician V. Vohidov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Said Ismoilov; Khushnud Jalilov, First Deputy Head of the Healthcare Department of the Bukhara Region; heads of medical institutions; leaders of regional medical associations; as well as representatives from the healthcare systems of Kashkadarya, Navoi, and Surkhandarya regions.
At the beginning of the event, guests were introduced to the extensive updates made at the institute over the past years. They toured the modern diagnostic and treatment equipment in the institute's clinic, high-tech medical services, the scientific laboratory of folk medicine, and a museum reflecting the rich history of the institute, highly appreciating the alignment between education and practice.
The main part of the fair presented vacancies in various regions of the country for 304 graduates completing their studies at the institute in 2026. Among them, 82 are master's students, and 222 are clinical residents. During the event, each graduate communicated directly with employers, considering their specialization, interests, and future career path. This provided young specialists with the opportunity to realize their knowledge and potential in a respectable workplace.
More than 200 employment contracts were signed following the fair. Notably, over 30 bachelor's degree graduates who previously struggled to find work also secured suitable positions in their specialty. This underscores the practical effectiveness of the event and its focus on supporting youth.
Representatives of the healthcare departments of Navoi, Kashkadarya, and Surkhandarya regions also provided detailed information about staffing needs, available vacancies, and working conditions in their regions, concluding employment agreements with graduates. Furthermore, issues regarding the procedure for hiring young people, opportunities for service, and prospects for professional growth were clarified.
Such practical events are a living embodiment of the principles promoted by the President, such as 'the value of man,' 'quality medical services,' and 'providing youth with decent work.' After all, a qualified doctor is a reliable pillar of national health, and their labor is one of the most important factors in societal development.

Large-scale economic and social reforms being implemented in the country are aimed at comprehensive regional development, active investment attraction, improving population welfare, and ensuring stable economic growth; the main goal of these transformations is to ensure human interests, develop territories, and improve citizen well-being.
The socio-economic results of Navoi Region for the first half of 2026 demonstrate a clear success story. In the previous period, the region's gross regional product reached 113.9 trillion soums, and the economic growth rate was 106.7%. Specifically, 155 trillion soums worth of products were produced in the industrial sector, with the industry growing by 5.4%.
Thanks to reforms focused on industrial diversification and the production of high value-added goods, significant growth has been achieved in light industry (130.7%), mechanical engineering (127%), mining industry (117.9%), furniture production (117.2%), and chemical industry (104.8%).
High indicators have also been noted in the sphere of investment policy. In the first half, 24.3 trillion soums in fixed capital investments were received, corresponding to a growth rate of 115.4%. Additionally, 907.5 million US dollars in foreign investment were attracted, meeting the planned target by 138%. The volume of investments increased by 264.4 million US dollars compared to the same period last year, indicating the growing investment attractiveness of Navoi Region.
Effective steps have been taken to increase exports and the production of import-substituting goods. Within 163 projects, goods worth 1.5 trillion soums that substitute imports were produced, saving 125 million US dollars in currency, realizing exports worth 40.3 million US dollars, and creating 437 new jobs. Overall, over six months, the region's export volume reached 124.3 million US dollars, exceeding the plan by 113%.
The service sector is recognized as one of the fastest-growing sectors of the economy. The tasks set by the President to turn the service sector into a driver of economic growth are finding practical implementation in Navoi Region. During the reporting period, the volume of services amounted to 16.1 trillion soums, showing a growth of 18.9%. Particularly high growth was observed in the fields of architecture, education, healthcare, transport, information and communication technologies, and hotel services.
This industry employs 15,570 people, 1.4 trillion soums in loans have been allocated to support entrepreneurship, and 986 new service providers have been created. Reforms aimed at turning tourism into a strategic sector of the economy are also yielding results: 1.9 million people visited Navoi Region in six months, including 301 thousand foreign tourists.
Over the past three years, six tourist villages have been built in the region. In the first half of the current year, the villages of Chichiksoy and Mushkan in the Nurot district also received the status of 'Tourist Village'. Furthermore, the emergency rescue service 'Qizilqum Safari' and 'Sputnik Navoi' for the first time received the status of 'Tourism Cluster' at the republican level, which contributes to further increasing the region's tourism potential.
Reforms in agriculture continue steadily: 9.8 trillion soums worth of products were produced, and the sector grew by 4.4%. High efficiency is achieved through the development of new lands, intensive horticulture, and the widespread adoption of water-saving technologies. Specifically, thanks to the use of water-saving technologies over an area of 17.1 thousand hectares, yield increased to 15-20 centners, and water consumption decreased by 25-30%.
Large-scale projects have also been implemented in the social sphere. In the first half of the year, 22 multi-story buildings with 1,415 apartments were commissioned, providing new housing for over 5,500 residents. Additionally, due to the laying of 196 kilometers of drinking water supply systems, 24 thousand residents gained centralized water supply for the first time. 362.5 kilometers of roads were built and repaired, and three new bridges were constructed.
The policy of investing in human capital yields obvious results in education: preschool education coverage in the region reached 82.6%. Work on construction and reconstruction has been carried out in 50 schools, creating 6,200 new educational places and improving the quality of education and infrastructure.
In the healthcare sector, high-tech medical services have expanded: 13,578 high-tech surgical operations were performed. 185 children underwent high-tech operations, and 36 of them avoided disability. Thanks to early diagnosis programs, hundreds of citizens were able to detect and start treatment for diabetes, cardiovascular, and oncological diseases in a timely manner. It is important to note that the flow of patients sent to the republic for treatment decreased by 3%.
Extensive measures have also been taken to support women. The coverage of young women with higher education reached 59.6%, making Navoi Region one of the leaders in the republic in this indicator. Initial mortgage payments were provided to thousands of needy women, and thousands of needy women received medical care funded by the state.
In conclusion, Navoi Region today strengthens its position not only as one of the country's major industrial centers but also as a region forming a model of sustainable development based on innovation, investment, and human capital.
