A delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia visited the Khimiko-Industrial Technopark Chirchik, located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. During the visit, the delegation familiarized itself with the park's infrastructure and studied the production capacities of the companies based there.
The delegation included A.V. Smirnov, Director of the Department of Chemical Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, and K.N. Zlygostev, representative of the Russian Federation in trade in Uzbekistan.
The management and specialists of the technopark presented the delegation with an overview of the current activities of the facility and demonstrated the work of resident companies, including BCG Oz, NOVOPLAST TPE, Kmita Polymers, Zanjir Dunyosi Bijuteriya, and IOTA.
The parties also discussed possible areas for further cooperation. The technopark itself noted that the visit of the Russian delegation confirms the constant interest of the professional community in the industrial potential of this facility.
A delegation from the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs Atameken of Kazakhstan visited the industrial complex TEXNOPARK in Tashkent from August 4 to 6, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to study the company's production capacities and consider prospects for further interaction.
This industrial complex, spanning 103.3 hectares, has implemented 17 investment projects with a total value of 465 million US dollars. The enterprise employs 6,500 people and produces over one hundred types of electrical and other industrial products.
During the visit, representatives of the Kazakh business community familiarized themselves with TEXNOPARK's production facilities, the modern technologies used by the company, as well as opportunities for localizing the production and manufacturing of goods that can replace imported analogues.
The parties discussed the potential for expanding industrial cooperation between enterprises of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as the possibilities of launching new joint projects. TEXNOPARK noted that the visit of Kazakh business representatives was another step towards strengthening business ties between the two countries and developing industrial partnership.
