According to a statement from the Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation, Bahodirova participated in the junior women's event and lifted 64 kg in the snatch, which earned her the bronze award at the continental championship.
This medal is the first for Uzbekistan at the current Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships.
At the Kim Un Yong Cup international tournament held in Seoul, the Uzbekistan WT taekwondo national team managed to win twelve medals across various categories.
Among the competition winners are Jakhongir Khudoyberdiyev, who took gold in the under 54 kilograms weight category. Jasurbek Jaisunov also won a gold medal in the under 80 kilograms category, and Ozoda Sobirjonova was the best in the under 67 kilograms weight class.
Silver medals were awarded to Asadbek Samandarov, competing in the under 58 kilograms category, and Yodgorbek Juraboyev, representing the under 80 kilograms weight class.
The bronze medalists of the tournament were Nazarali Nazarov (under 63 kilograms), Ayubxon Nabiyev (under 68 kilograms), Lailo Hasanova (under 53 kilograms), Madina Mirabzalova (under 57 kilograms), Shabbona Abdulaliyeva (under 57 kilograms), Mohidil Uktamjonov (under 62 kilograms), and Iroda Mirtodzhieva (over 73 kilograms).
In total, the Uzbekistan national team received three gold, two silver, and seven bronze awards. It is worth noting that previously, the Uzbekistan WT taekwondo team had demonstrated successful performance at the Grand Prix stage in Rome.
