Students from residential institutions in Uttar Pradesh can now benefit not only from their studies but also from the experience of civil servants thanks to a new government initiative. Under this program, employees holding IAS, IPS, and IFS positions will visit schools monthly to interact directly with students.
These officials will explain to students how to prepare for entrance exams, continue their education, and choose the right career path. The goal of this special government measure is to guide the Gen-Z generation youth onto the right track.
The government aims to provide timely guidance to students. Often, due to a lack of necessary information, children miss important opportunities. Therefore, the government plans for them to be able to ask all their questions and dispel doubts through interaction with officials.
Officials will provide students with information not only about civil service but also about opportunities for advancement in fields such as medicine, engineering, and the military. During these meetings, the correct strategy for preparing for exams like UPSC, UPPSC, UPSSSC, NDA, JEE, NEET, and CUET will be explained. They will also discuss methods for more effective learning in less time.
The discussion will not be limited to entrance examinations. Employees will elaborate on opportunities in higher education, employment, starting one's own business, or participating in new startups. This will help children choose their future path according to their preferences.
For the proper functioning of this system, district administrators will schedule the officials' visits to schools every month. The District Institute of Education (DIOS) will coordinate the work between schools and officials to ensure smooth execution of the events. The district governor will review the entire system. To verify how successfully the plan is being implemented locally, a full report must be submitted to the government by the fifth of each month.
Overall, through this initiative, the government intends to connect the Gen-Z generation directly with the experience of the administrative system. This will not only alleviate hesitation and fear among students but also allow them to find the right career path at the appropriate age without any deviations.
