Thanks to the improvement of digitalization and the tax service in the country, opportunities for monitoring and analyzing tax revenues in the public catering sector are expanding. According to data from the Tax Committee, during the period from January to June 2026, 23,148 legal entities engaged in this activity contributed over 1 trillion UZS in taxes to the state budget.
The amount of taxes paid by trade sector enterprises over the six-month period has been determined. In January-June 2026, 163,597 legal entities engaged in trade activities in Uzbekistan contributed over 18.8 trillion sums to the state budget.
This figure demonstrates the significant role of the trade segment in the country's economy and public financial sector.
The professional exhibition 'TalabaExpo – 2026' took place in the city of Nukus at the 'Oqqush' complex as part of the 'Kelajakka Qadam' (Step into the Future) program.
The Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amambai Orinbaev, addressed the opening of the exhibition-fair and congratulated the attendees. 212 institutions and enterprises participated in this exhibition, offering over 1500 job positions.
Furthermore, preferential credit packages from commercial banks were presented to young people for self-employment and starting their own businesses. The event also featured a showcase of vacant positions, meetings with employers, presentations of practical experience and internship programs, as well as a startup project exhibition.
Participants were able to learn about the opportunities to obtain preferential loans under the 'Kelajakka Qadam' program and took part in practical training sessions on business development and launch. An open dialogue titled 'Leaders and Youth' was held, where promising startup projects were discussed.
Uzmilliybank conducted seminars on financial literacy and preferential lending. These events aimed to support the professional growth of students and graduates and included business seminars and training for participants to master the basics of entrepreneurship, career planning, personal branding, developing soft skills, and activity in professional networks, facilitated by experienced entrepreneurs and specialists.
In recent years, special attention has been paid in the country to educating youth in modern professions, ensuring their employment, and supporting entrepreneurship. As the President emphasized, supporting youth and realizing their aspirations is one of the most important directions of state policy since the very first days of reforms. A completely new system has been created in recent years, and the activities of youth leaders have been activated in every settlement, which has opened up broad opportunities to support the initiatives of young people in the fields of employment, education, acquiring professions, and starting entrepreneurial activities.
The professional exhibition 'TalabaExpo – 2026', held in Nukus, played an important role in the comprehensive support of graduates, ensuring their employment, helping them choose a profession according to their interests, and, most importantly, in developing their knowledge and skills.
